Im happy, i sold two parts from my old bike for $400. With no less then an hour after the money was transfered into my paypal account i had already spent $300 of it. I bought a new pair of fbm bars to replace the ones i wrecked at joes house last week and i also bought a new rear wheel. Its got a gold profile low flange mini hub laced to a 36 hole sun Big city rim. It is going to be real cool to have normal gearing again.

On saturday brendan and i took a trip over the lake to burlington to get some stuff done, we got some free food at subway because jess was working, then we picked up a few shovels and some other things from brendans house. Then we went to the ups store so i could ship the parts out to the kid that bought them. After that we cruised down to the city and looked through a few record shops before heading down to the waterfront skatepark. I rode like shit (i blame the shitty feeling 4peice bars i have on my bike) and brendan snapped a few pictures of me with his D70. We only spent like 20 minutes at the park before we headed over to edwins to see chris. It was edwins birthday, but we really didnt hang out with him much, we mostly just hung out in the kitchen or outside in his driveway listening to YESS echoing though the neighborhood. I had a good time and it was nice to do something different.

So after almost 2 weeks of school i have some cool new things to talk about.

First off classes have been pretty rad so far. This year they are all about things that im actually interested in and my professors seem pretty cool

Second is i met a few cool new people. Jon rides bmx and like hardcore, which is cool. Its good because i was worried that with joe gone that it was just going to be jesse and i. I also met two really cool new chicks. Valarie and tara are roomates and they think bmx is cool which is really cool, oh and they are also pretty hot too.


This tuesday Jesse, Jon, valarie, and i drove down to joes house to ride and hang out. It was a good time up untill i pulled an awesome faceplant off joes 6ft and ruffed up my face and broke my two front teeth off. After a quick stop at the lake placid hospital to get a few stitches in my chin we drove back to the school and when i took my bike out of the car i realized that i had bent the handlebars really badly. I didnt go to class on wedensday and spent my time trying to find a dentist that would fix my face up. It turns out that there isnt a single good dentist in this god forsaken city that would see me. So i called my dad and he hooked me up with an appointment at my dentist at 8:45 the next morning. So after hauling ass the 5 hours back home, i hung out with steve for like an hour then went to sleep. I woke up and went to my appointment where my dentist checked out the damage then told me to come back at 11:30 to get everything fixed up. I did, so after about an hour and a half of dental work i had two brand new front teeth. I went and ate lunch with my parrents then drove back up here, I even rememberd to bring a few things i had left at home like my shovel and my xc bike. So now im back to being good looking and am bored. I should probably catch up on the stuff i missed from the last two days so or watch the convention but i dont think i will.

it finally cleared up at joes house on saturday. I had fun riding and it was nice to see how much better ive gotten just over this summer. I just feel way more comfortable riding, im alot less scared of things and i feel like i can ride out of anything. I got this confirmed when i didnt have enough speed going into his wallride and i hit the wall and couldnt pull off enough, but after nose bonking the coping real badly and completely catching my rear wheel between the wall and the coping i still rode out of it. Even sam and joe were like "wtf how did you not die doing that". Im definatly getting into riding my bmx bike more. I dont think i even want to get my frame taken care of. I might just sell all the parts and get a new pair of wheels and crankset for my bmx bike... maybe even a new frame. I feel like i can do everything i could on the mtn bike but better and smoother now, that and ive finally realized how retarded most mtb street kids are.

Im back home for now, ill be heading back up to school on saturday though, so if you want to hang out before i go you should let me know.

Shanna came down to visit for a few days this week. She was coming down to see the warped tour and i was supposed to meet her there, but it was sold out when i tried to get tickets. So i wound up picking her up from it after it was over. It was nice having her over because i missed hanging out with her.

We to see The village on sunday. It was a really good movie, i liked it a lot. On monday we went to the beach for a few hours and I actually have some color on my body now. After the beach we went to the end of the skatepark session at greenlawn. It was only maybe an hour and a half that i was there, but i felt bad for her because she looked kinda bored.

I showed Shanna the simplistic wonder that is the Mixture. She said she would make it up at school which is good because the mixture is awesome. We went to whitecastle for lunch on tuesday, and it was somewhat gross. Then after i got my family picture taken at the church shanna and i left for the drive up to her house. We got in at about 1:30 and went to sleep pretty soon after. I discovered that waterbeds aren't all they are cracked up to be...

I left Shanna's house when she went to work at 10am. When i arrived at Joe's house no one was home, so i called him up and apparently he had forgotten that i was coming that day. So i'm sitting here at Joe's house on his computer while he is at work for the day.

It rained a bit last night so his ramps are a bit wet. I brushed the puddles away and was getting ready to ride. When i went out to my car to grab my bike. I found it had a flat in the rear. So when i went to change it the axel nut got stripped on the part of the axel that joe had crushed when i let him borrow the wheel over the winter. So right now i cant even ride my bike. I have to wait for him to get home so i can get something to cut the end of the axel off because right now i cant get the extra axel nut i had to thread on.

joe came down for KOD and i had alot of fun riding a bunch of different places with him. He qualified 5th and got 9th out of 30 or so riders. Good for joe

I broke my pitbull, its cracked at the headtube/downtube junction and im going to try and send it back for a warentee. For now i guess ill have to ride the cloud bike.

Getting my car inspected was rediculously expensive, it was $428 for the inital stuff then another $500 for a new set of tires because the old ones were dry rotted to shit.

last night i was driving around with steve and my cd player decided to go haywire. I really hope it just resloves itself because i dont have money to get a new car cd player. It was pretty gay and im pretty pissed about it.

Shanna should be coming down next weekend for warped tour, then shes hanging out here and we are driving upstate together. Im gonna visit joe and ride a bunch with him and sam. It should be a fun week.

Then a week later it will be back to school and im glad. Ive been getting super bored down here and it will be nice to get to hang out with the whole crew on a regular basis again. I will also be able to get a job up there, which i despretly need because i am out of money.

so i woke up today to a phone call from Captian Doucette. He had some awful news to tell me. I was not selected to go to OCS this summer by the selection board. He said that this year was a very competetive year and that a few of his other candidates also were not selected. I can train a bit more and resubmit a better application for next year. Which i will do.

I suppose my summer is pretty much wide open now. I dont have a job, i dont have OCS, and i dont have anything to do. The only upside to this news is now i can go kill myself on my bike on a regular basis without worrying.

Tuseday was a great day i had a tremendous amount of fun at the trails and now im fiending to go back.

Wedensday started in the worst way possible (for a nerd such as i)
The internet was shut off by resnet because a virus was shooting around the network and a bunch of people got it (joe, jane, jesse, chris, tiff and probably others) im not plugging my shit back into the net till i get the all clear. So im bored as shit now.

In my boredem i began cleaning up files and sorting them better. During this process managed to accidently delete half of my "stuff" folder with an errent keystroke which contained a good amout of the stuff i had collected off the net over the past year or so. I lost all my macros, all the funny shit off of pmf and SA, all my funny .gif files and emotes, the funny pictures from the summer, the tailgate party pictures, funny midis and simpson wav's, THE PICTURES OF STEVEO IN A GOD AWFUL AMOUNT OF MAKEUP, and alot of old stuff that amused me. I also lost alot of my txt files that had things like pretty girls phonenumbers, birthdays, and other information. Since i have my recycle bin set to 0 space it automatically deleted them and they are gone permenently.

im now sad because as a computer nerd i feel as though i have lost a child when i lost those files.

The gunny came up last wedensday and gave his pre OCS breifing and had us run a pft IT WAS FUN!!! but i did manage to crank out a decent run time for once. He also gave me a nice black binder full of stuff to memorize by OCS im going to start singing the usmc running songs when i run. IT WILL BE FUN

I started to ruin the rear wheel that jesse was letting me borrow so i gave it back to him before i broke anything. I took the stx silent clutch that was laying around and had myles build it up to the rhynolitexl i had sitting around. He didnt do a good job and after a week the rim is pretty much wrecked. Im going to have to get a new one soon, so joe and i are going to take a trip down to keene and have mark build up a new rim to the hub. Hes a pro builder so it should work alot better then the one myles built. It would be nice to have a fully functional bike for more then a few weeks at a time.

Today we went to try and jump at 01 for the first time this year. It was a bust though, joe managed to run through the whole set on his first run, then i tried it and somehow the run in got really sloppy right after joe rode it. I had no speed and came up way short on it. After a few more runups and joe casing the first one really badly (though it did show how well packed the first backside is) we decided that it wasnt worth hurting ourselves or our bikes trying to jump them anymore. We came back to campus and rode around for a bit more. My legs are getting pretty wrecked from all the riding lately. After we got back i went to little al's to grab dinner because i was going to go work out with my new workout buddy AVERY at 8. Working out with Avery didnt go to badly. We did our backs and ab's and while ill probably be sore tomarrow it wasnt to terrible. I was checking out things for my rear wheel that needs to be built up after i give jesse his wheel back. Ive decided that im going to get a black 32 spoke profile 6 speed casette hub laced to a Rhynolite XL rim. That as a rear wheel should work well for me. Hopefully i can scrape together the coin for it soon.

my orchids finally came, what a great end to a fun week.

Joe and i killed his ramps for nearly 13 hours total this weekend. I did get dealt with by the ledge by the highschool but thats alright ill do it another day when its waxed up. I managed to not spend a single dime the entire weekend which is cool, and i shot a roll of film that i think will turn out really well. I have to figure out how im going to get it developed *cough*sneek into the lab*cough*. I hope the rest of my week is this good.

i woke up early today and wrote my soap opera paper. It was real easy so it didnt take me all that long.

at lunch we decided to go to burlington to ride so after mass media we loaded up the car and crossed the ocean to vermont. i had a good time riding at waterfront and kyle, dave, and jarred were there riding their new sinister dna's. We got back just before clinton closed, it would have sucked if we didnt get back in time because i have no money and i dont want to pay for a meal.

My shoes are still no where to be found, i think tomarrow im going to go to the housing office and see if maybe since it was a priority package they still have it and just havn't called to let me know that they had it.

tomarrow i guess im going down to placid with joe for easter tomarrow. Hopefully the weather is nice so we can ride alot and not go to church and stuff.

Avery called me tonight and told me that i was going to be his new work out buddy. Im scared, hes going to call me a girly man. i just know it :(

So i went and dug at 01 today with joe and jesse and we got the first two jumps all fixed up and big after a few hours, i cant wait for that place to dry up so we can go jump there.

my orchids still havnt come, i dont know what the hell is taking so long because my parrents sent them at the same time that they sent a package to my grandpa in arizona and he got it on monday...

we watched General hospital today for mass media and i found out that is actualy quite an interesting show, joe and i will probably watch it tomarrow even though the assignment is over. I was going to write the paper on soap operas tonight but meg busted into my room and made me go party in her room... so i think im going to wake up early tomarrow and write it before english. Speaking of english i havnt done any work for my research paper, i hope Trisha doesnt flip shit that i didnt go tuesday and havnt turned in any work for it.

Workin out for the marines is going well hopefuly i improve everything alot more so i can go to ocs this summer and what not.

I havnt gotten to hang out with shanna lateley, i hope she still wants to be friends because still i do.

I selected my room for next year, its going to be 231 Mason and im going to be right next to brendan and glenifer which should be a rockin good time.
